                          A medical scribe is someone who documents the encounters between a patient and a doctor electronically in Electronic Health Records (EHR). The scribe follows a doctor throughout his/her work time and documents every word with the patient. This helps the doctor to access the patient's information at any time zones.  


                        With the advent of EHRs the work load of doctors have been reduced. The Electronic Health Record is the information son a patient in digital format.  With the help of a medical scribe, the doctor can spend more time with the patient as the charting will be done by scribe.
